Explore the journey ↗The Inner Tide journey
A journey inward, with the world in view.
As the days grow shorter, nature invites us to slow down, listen, and reconnect.
Through writing, poetry, movement, meditation, and visual art, we explore our inner landscapes while staying connected to the world around us.

Four gatherings, one journey
Select a gathering to explore its theme and activities.
01 NOVEMBER 7 · 5:00–6:30 PM Listening to the Voices What is waiting to be heard? +
We begin by slowing down and listening.
Through meditation, gentle movement, and creative writing, we will explore the many voices living within us — our thoughts, memories, emotions, desires, and the quieter parts of ourselves that often go unheard.
We will also turn our attention outward, noticing how the world enters our inner lives through the stories we hear, the people we encounter, and the realities we witness.
What voices live within me? Which voices from the world have stayed with me? What are they trying to tell me?
02 NOVEMBER 14 · 5:00–6:30 PM What Is Calling Me? Making room for longing and possibility. +
What has been quietly waiting for our attention?
Through poetry, meditation, reflection, and creative writing, we will explore our longings, dreams, and desires — from the smallest everyday wishes to the deeper questions of our lives.
Drawing inspiration from the mystical poetry of Rumi, we will also make space to explore our spiritual connection with God, love, the sacred, and the mysteries of existence.
There is no single way to experience spirituality, and everyone is welcome to explore these questions through their own beliefs, curiosity, and personal experiences.
What is my soul longing for? What brings me alive? What has been calling me, waiting to be heard?
03 NOVEMBER 21 · 5:00–6:30 PM The Art of Moving Forward Imagining what we want to carry. +
How do we continue? And what do we wish to carry with us?
Through collage, drawing, imagination, and writing, we will explore the people, values, dreams, relationships, and possibilities we wish to bring into the coming season.
Rather than creating a fixed plan for the future, we will allow ourselves to imagine different possibilities and discover what truly matters to us.
What do I want to carry forward? What can I release? What kind of life and world do I wish to help create?
04 NOVEMBER 28 · 5:00–6:30 PM Giving Voice to the Unseen Making space for untold stories. +
In our final gathering, we turn toward what often remains unseen, unheard, or unspoken — within ourselves and in the world around us.
Through writing, creative expression, and collective reflection, we will make space for overlooked stories, hidden emotions, invisible connections, and experiences waiting to be acknowledged.
We will explore how giving voice to our own experiences can deepen our ability to listen to and connect with others.
What remains unseen within me? What deserves greater attention in the world around me? What happens when I give it a voice?

Creative practice
The Living Canvas
A Creative Journey That Grows With You
Throughout the retreat, each participant will create a personal, evolving artwork on a large sheet of paper.
During each gathering, add colours, words, drawings, symbols, and reflections inspired by your experience.
By the end of November, your canvas becomes a visual record of your journey — something to keep, display, and return to.
An invitation
Come as you are.
As we enter the quieter season, may we give ourselves the gift of slowing down, listening more deeply, and discovering new ways of being with ourselves and the world.
May we find beauty in the ordinary, courage in our voices, and connection in the stories we share.
Come as you are. Write from where you are.
With love,
Haneen Sabbah
